What this website knows about you
Last updated 3 November 2026
This policy covers the website at redoubtcyber.com. The Redoubt product is covered by the agreement each customer signs, which describes how the data in their account is handled.
Who we are
Redoubt is operated by Redoubt Cyber Ltd., a company registered in Canada. For anything in this policy, write to the address below.
What the website collects
Very little. The site is static pages with no accounts and no advertising, and one form, provided by HubSpot, on the home page.
- No cookies, no trackers. The pages set no cookies and embed no fonts, media or social buttons from third parties. The one exception is the design-partner form on the home page, described below.
- Visit counts, without identifying anyone. We use Plausible Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they read. Plausible is built for this: it sets no cookies, keeps no persistent identifier, and does not follow you across sites. It receives the page you viewed, the site that referred you, and your browser's type and screen size; your IP address is used only to count you once within a day and is never stored. It is operated by Plausible Insights OU in the European Union.
- One setting in your browser. If you switch the site to light mode, that choice is stored in your browser's local storage so it is remembered next time. It never leaves your browser and we cannot read it.
- Hosting logs. The site is served by Cloudflare, Inc. To serve a page, Cloudflare processes the technical data every web request carries: your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser's identification string. Cloudflare keeps such logs for a short period for security and operational purposes under its own privacy policy. We do not use this data to identify visitors.
When you email us
Every link on the site that invites contact opens your own email program. When you write to us, we receive what you send: your email address, your name if you include it, and the content of your message. We use it to reply and to continue the conversation you started, and for nothing else. We keep that correspondence for as long as the conversation and any resulting relationship lasts, and delete it afterwards unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
The legal basis under the GDPR, where it applies, is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, or the steps needed before entering into a contract with you.
When you apply to be a design partner
The design-partner form is provided by HubSpot, Inc. HubSpot's code loads with the home page to display the form, and it may set its own cookies to recognise your browser if you return. What you enter in the form is stored in our HubSpot account and used to follow up on your application and, if you become a partner, to run the relationship. HubSpot is based in the United States and processes this data there under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses; its handling of it is described in HubSpot's privacy policy.
Who else sees it
- Cloudflare, as the provider hosting the website, processes the request data described above.
- Plausible Insights OU, in the European Union, processes the visit statistics described above.
- HubSpot, Inc., in the United States, stores what you submit through the design-partner form.
- Our email provider processes the messages you send us.
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising.
Where it is processed
Redoubt is based in Canada, and your email to us is handled there. Visit statistics are processed in the European Union. Design-partner applications are stored by HubSpot in the United States. Cloudflare serves the website from the location nearest to you and operates globally. Where data about a person in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom leaves those regions, it does so under the safeguards the law provides for such transfers, including the European Commission's adequacy decision for Canada for commercial organisations and standard contractual clauses with our providers.
Your rights
You can ask what personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to or restrict its use, and receive a copy of it. Write to the address above and we will answer within a month. Under the GDPR you can also complain to the data protection authority in your country; under Canada's PIPEDA you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published here with a new date at the top. The change log for the site is the date on this page.
